WHEN IS YOUR LAKE OPEN FOR SWIMMING?

Usually from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, depending on water and weather

conditions, and lifeguard availability.

 

WHAT ARE THE COSTS OF SUMMER MEMBERSHIP?
 

  • Family membership is $700.

  • Couple membership is $550.

  • Single membership is $400.

 

CAN WE BRING A GUEST?

Yes.  Summer members can bring up to 5 guests per visit.  There is a $5 daily fee per guest.

 

WHERE DOES THE WATER COME FROM?

The water that fills the lake comes from several seasonal creeks. The lake itself is about 1.75 acres.

 

CAN I HAVE A PARTY AT THE LAKE?

Only Active members (owners) can have private parties.

 

IS YOUR WATER SAFE?

Yes. The County Dept. of Environmental Health checks our water on a regular basis throughout our

season.

 

HOW MANY MEMBERSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE?

We sell about 165 summer memberships each year. There are 50 Active member families who are the owners of the lake. 

 

HOW MANY LIFEGUARDS DO YOU HAVE?

Under normal conditions we have three lifeguards every day.

 

IS THIS A NATURAL LAKE?

Sort of. The lake is formed with an earthen dam at a confluence of several spring-fed and seasonal

creeks.  The lake is full of natural flora and fauna, such as fish, turtles, and birds, and is managed

with sensitivity to the needs of wildlife as well as human visitors.

 

ARE THERE FISH IN THE LAKE?

Yes, the lake is stocked with fish. Active members can do catch & release fishing in the lake outside of swimming hours.

 

DO YOU HAVE SOCIAL EVENTS HERE?

Yes, we celebrate the summer holidays and host several musical events, a movie night and an

over-night camping adventure for kids.  All members can attend these events, some involve an event fee.

 

WHAT PICNIC FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

There is an outdoor kitchen space with charcoal grill, gas stove, and sink and counter space.  Bring

your own charcoal, and share with others who want to use the facilities as well.  There are several picnic

tables available.

 

CAN WE BRING ALCOHOL?

The lake is a family-friendly place, so we do not allow alcohol during open lake hours from 12 noon to

7pm.
